Can I make a suggestion though?
Only for WordPress as a start…

I’d rather try to handle the output from the translation services by screenscraping, and replace my content asynchronously…

I say WordPress only because it would be easy to manage if you know how wordpress outputs your content, so grepping and returning the translated CONTENT area would be quite simple…

As a proper WP plugin, I’d create a content viewing page, which I’d send to the translation service, so that no unnecessary stuff like sidebars and header etc are processed. The view would simply output the content and / or comments of the current page, be processed, and returned to the browser translated and ready to replace.

I dunno, I think I’ll give it a try… would you mind if I tweaked your plugin?

me likes a challenge 🙂
