Prevent Error Caused By Null-Value in Your Stored Procedure

Bang, apparently if I don’t do the checking, the value will still be NULL.

It seems that the

SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(ConnectionString, DatabaseOwner & ObjectQualifier & “Stored_Procedure_Name”, GetNull(StartDate), GetNull(EndDate))

will declare and set @StartDate and @EndDate into NULL thus skipped the default value assignment.

News about the slain Indonesian student, taken trom the Jakarta Post:

Dead Indonesian student in U.S. massacre identified

JAKARTA (JP): One Indonesian student at the Virginia Tech University, the U.S., who was among the dead victims when another student fired gun to the crowd in the campus Monday morning (Monday evening at Jakarta time) was identified as Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumban Toruan, Metro TV station reported on Tuesday.

Partahi was a civil engineering student in the university’s doctoral program, Metro TV said.

The massacre kills 33 students in the university.

The perpetrator was identified as Cho Seung-Hui, a-23-year-old student who arrived in the U.S. as a boy from South Korea in 1992.(***)

Google Reader is an online, web based application with a huge potential of being slow. One of the good things of Google Reader is the ability to search and select feeds with just two clicks (or more :P).

Meanwhile, RSS Bandit is a .NET desktop application with Outlook-ish interface. It allows you to save your data on the network (FTP, WebDAV,Network File Share, dasBlog and Newsgator Online). So it’s quite tough competitor for Google Reader.

It would be good if a plugin to fetch your Google Reader feeds, and import them into RSS Bandit. That would be terrific.
