How Deus Ex Machina Ruined Spider-Man 3

the sandman was quite unlogical. He was trapped at the research yard and accidentally (or lucky?) become the sandman after that. But he can go to wherever place he want. No story about the research yard, really sucks persona.

Working in A Niche Industry

at some point, we should move to something advance that required tacit knowledge instead of just raw skill. A wisdom, that’s make you a developer, not just a coder.

coldfusion has no value at all, no offense pls :). Unless you really know the market, forgot about it. C# (I mean .net flavour) is more usefull. Also, it’s very easy to swicth between Java and C# if you really understand one of them by heart. Both of these are the most demanding skills in the development world now.

If you have a time and really need some challenge, dig in to (old) C++. Learn win32, MFC, ATL, as well as *nix C flavours. More valuable and dramatically increase your paycheck :).

Prevent Error Caused By Null-Value in Your Stored Procedure

Hi, put default value after parameter declaration in stored produre. It’s better, cleaner code, and no need to do checking on null with IF .. ELSE branching. Then you stored proc will be faster.

Or if your database is SQL2005, use Try … Catch block for more elegant exception handling.

How To Shop For Your Computer (in Singapore)

hi,

I prefer go to funan instead of Simlim. If you just buy something below $100, funan is better. There is no significant discount for such thing below 100 :).

I can do browsing, yeah you know what I mean. I like to do windows shopping for any pheriperals at Challenger or South Asia.
