COVID-19: Measures and precautions

All S’poreans returning from UK/US to serve Stay-Home Notice (SHN) at dedicated hotels
– They will be transported directly from airport to dedicated hotels to serve 14 day SHN
– Mandatory, even if they only transited through US/UK

Qing Ming advisory
– All govt-managed columbaria (Choa Chu Kang, Mandai, Yishun) closed on weekends and public hols until 26 Apr
– Extended opening hrs on weekdays till 24 Apr
– Limit number of family visitors to 4 per family cluster. Don’t bring elderly/young children
– Avoid prolonged stay, overcrowding

New local cases: 27 [18 linked to previous cases and clusters, 9 currently unlinked]

Total cases in Singapore: 732
Discharged today: 11
Total discharged: 183
Total remaining in Hospital: 432

Most in hospital stable or improving. 17 in ICU – 1 less than yesterday.

Schools to have one day of home-based learning (HBL) a week
➡️ To support further safe distancing, schools will progressively transit to a blended learning model
➡️ Starting Apr 2020, all schools will conduct one day of HBL a week
– Primary – Wed
– Secondary – Thur
– JC/Centralised Institute – Fri
➡️ HBL will be introduced progressively to better prepare students and parents, if more days of HBL are needed
